My gorgeous girlfriends had just returned from their European holiday and to help them stave off PHD (Post Holiday Depression) I organised to catch up with them somewhere they hadn’t been before, Il Lido Italian Canteen.

Having had lunch there a few weeks earlier, I thought it was the perfect place to remind them that although they were home, adventures could still be had with some pretty amazing food and glorious ocean views included.

I enjoyed all the dishes I had ordered, and even those that were ordered by others (thank you Ninja, the snapper was brilliant).

Pumpkin & gorgonzola crespelle, walnuts, pear, aged balsamic

Brown sugar meringue, balsamic ice cream and strawberries

The flowers were not edible but they were too pretty to not be included in my post.
