Windy Point Restaurant, Adelaide

It says a lot about a person when they reserve a table at Windy Point Restaurant but forget to send in the RSVP for a wedding, the reason we were flying to Adelaide in the first place. Perhaps I’m psychic, perhaps my intuition was guiding me, knowing that if I missed out eating at Windy Point my life would be incomplete.
I had an amazing time here – the service, atmosphere, and the view were brilliant. The way the building was designed to take full advantage of it’s position blew me away. As for the food, well, I’ll let the pictures do the talking.
Now for those who like to cook: I found a recipe for Windy Point Restaurant’s White Chocolate and Butterscotch Brulee on Adelaide Now, Chef Lachlan MacKinnon’s chocolate melange platter.

Yes the food WAS fantastic, but it might be time for a bit of a decor revision. It felt like we were celebrating the winning of the America’s Cup!
Our last meal at Windy Point was lovely too. It’s such a great location, with such fab views, that for those alone it should be on interstate/overseas visitors’ short lists!
The Waygu beef is unbelievable. So sad about all those Japanese cows, but they were going to be eaten anyhow.
